1. Remove all clothes, shoes and accessories from your closet. Set up five piles: keep, throw away, store, sell and donate.
2. When cleaning out your closet, it's important to try on all your clothes and accessories.
3. Put donated items in boxes. Put the things you want to sell in a basket. Store off-season clothes and accessories, separately in the same location. Put the clothes that need to be kept and rehang them. Put the clothes that need to be thrown away inside the bag.
4. If you haven't worn your clothes or looked at something in over a year, get rid of it!
