How to wash your clothes

1. Divide your clothes into piles. When washing clothes, distinguish between the colors of the different clothes, and the different materials. Not all fabrics can withstand the same level of water pressure or tumbling.

2. Separate light and dark colored clothes. Some fabrics have dyes that run off the garment during the washing process. All light-colored clothes should go in the "white" pile, while all other colors should go in the "dark" pile.

3. Separate your clothes according to their fabrics. Some fabrics, such as denim or towels need to be washed on a heavier wash cycle, while your silk underwear (which can be washed on a delicate setting).
